Video: “BIG Nor’Easter Swell Hits Cape Hatteras” – Barley
It's no surprise that Nor'Easters can produce damaging results to the coastline... and in some cases can be much worse than a hurricane. Relentless winds out of the North East (that can last anywhere from 2-4 days) coupled with a large fetch over the Atlantic Ocean cause massive beach erosion, ocean over-wash and HEAVY surf up and down the East Coast. In this video, Pro Surfer Brett Barley takes us through a nasty Nor'Easter swell in Cape Hatteras that took place back in October 10-14, 2019. You can check out this video and many more on Brett Barley's YouTube Channel. (Do yourself a favor and SUBSCRIBE).
