Surf Contest: GromPrix presented by HIB and O’Neil June 15, 2013

We had perfect blue skies, with awesome A-frame sets rolling through at Avon Pier for our GromPrix. All the groms battled it out for a free spot into the O’neil/Sweetwater Surf Fest, radical prizes, and of course bragging rights in the lineup. Waves were pumping early AM since it was low tide, but as the day went on these groms has to paddle their hearts out to catch these waves during high tide. It was an all around awesome day from sock races, to belly flop contests, to expression sessions with Brett Barley, Brendon Petticrew, Nigel Haynes, and Dallas Tolson. Congratulations to Quentin Turko for taking the title of the GromPrix Champion!! Way to go and keep shredding!!
