Leslie, Day 2 and Only Getting Better (Surf Pics from 9/5 Afternoon)
Another stellar day of surf with head high+ waves, perfect weather, warm water, offshore winds, sheet glass conditions……. starting to sound like a broken record. (Mother Ocean – Thank You!) Let’s face it, we’ve had a weak summer run of waves. We are all frothing at anything larger than chest high and now this? AND…it’s looking like more of the same on tap. Leslie (our wave-maker in the Atlantic) just upgraded to a hurricane today with 75mph winds with a forecast to turn due North (not effecting the coast) and reach 105 mph winds by Saturday, September 8 near Bermuda before slingshotting into the Northern Atlantic. This just keeps getting better for the Outer Banks. Photos: Brent Nultemeier
