A board of art by Ross / Tsunami
A 6 foot 10 inch modern fish shaped by Murray Ross has been used as a canvas by David ” Tsunami ” Wise, a spectacular primal fantasy painter raised on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Tsunami has been surfing nearly all of his life and his vision and art find their soul in the ocean, its turmoil and power to inflame imagination. The detail on this board is phenomenal requiring endless hours of dedication and represents the pilgrimage of the Watermen and Children of the sea to the Ring of Fire. This is defined on the deck of the board, starting from top to bottom is a volcano shooting it’s fire into the atmosphere and down the rails of the board. The flowing lava fields mesh into the sea, with waves and reefs. The board is peppered with sea life and contains the Currituck, Bodie Island, and Hatteras lighthouses all famous landmarks from times one by. This board of art can be seen… at Art’s Place mile post 2.5 in Kitty Hawk North Carolina or check it out at Ebay, it could be yours.
