Kitty Hawk Kites hosts 9th Annual OBX Watermelon Festival to benefit Outer Banks Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Coalition
July 27, 2015 – Celebrate summer and support the Outer Banks Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Coalition at the 9th Annual OBX Watermelon Festival this Thursday July 30 at the Kitty Hawk Kites store at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head (MP 12.5) from 10AM to 4PM.
Enjoy games, food, face painting, inflatable waterslides, TONS of watermelon fun and more. OBX Watermelon Festival is free for guests to attend, however tickets are required to participate in the various activities and contests. Compete in classic competitions like seed spiting and watermelon eating and win from a selection of awesome prizes including Kitty Hawk Kites adventures, free bowling, day passes to Jennette’s Pier, and a Kitty Hawk Hammock to name a few!
Stop by and share in this summertime tradition with watermelon goodness generously provided by Food Lion. Bring the family on down for a day of summer time fun and help support an extremely important community organization.
