Kiteboarding Video: “Cape Hatteras Wave Classic – Men’s Top 3”
The first annual Cape Hatteras Wave Classic was held on the Outer Banks, September 20th-26th, 2014. In choosing this time of the year to host the wave-based event, organizers claimed September is “prime time” for wind and waves, providing excellent kitesurfing or surfing conditions, and many times BOTH, nearly every day. Can it really be that good? Cape Hatteras proved its point, with 6 straight days of conditions that kept surfboards barreled and competitors stoked beyond belief.
