Island Revolution’s Skate Contest: “Bowl B Que” – Wednesday, July 24
Every summer (usually mid-July) Island Revolution throws a skate contest to benefit Food for Thought, a Manteo Food Pantry. Entry is $10 a person and every level & age is more than welcome to participate. Usually the O’Neal bros from over the bridge in Currituck take this one home, but recently talent from VA beach has come down to join in on the fun! All proceeds are donated and prizes are awarded to the top 3 skaters in each age division. Also, we do a 50/50 Raffle. That means for every raffle ticket you purchase 50% of that money goes towards your prize and 50% is donated to Food for Thought. Sounds like a win-win dontcha think?! 😉
